Structure
The AASR works in 33 degrees, which have evolved historically. Each
degree represents a specific step of study, starting with the 4th
degree, and can be reached in the course of time. The 33rd degree
administrative.
Craft Degrees 1 to 3 are conferred by the Grand Lodge Alpina of
Switzerland.
This arrangement was contractually agreed between the AASR and the
Grand Lodge in 1873.
